I am a husband, father, and full-time minister living in Austin Texas.

It is in the context of my love for Jesus – or rather His love for me – that my photography has found its home. I believe that photography can mirror the truth about what Christ says about us – that we are created with dignity, value, and meaning. And so a photograph, when made meaningfully, can truly impact and beautify our time in this world. I guess you could say that I really do try to practice photography as an extension of my ministry of the gospel.

My work is a mix of digital, 35mm and medium format film. I develop and scan all of my film personally at home, and I love having full, creative control over that process. I mostly work with individuals, couples, and families (sorry, I don’t do weddings!).

To be honest, I really don’t engage much or network on social media. I never have, and that’s just the lifestyle I want to live. Instead I prefer to rely on my local communities, word-of-mouth, and offline relationships to grow. Maybe that’s how you found my site; if not, welcome! I would love to work with you.
